Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great 2012 and you were able to spend the holidays with those you love!
Jesse, Rosie, Ruby, and I made our way to Cheyenne where we spent an early Christmas with both of our families since I had to work back in Omaha on Christmas Eve. While there we crammed in as much holiday fun into a week as possible! For us that meant days full of baking, puzzles, shopping, board games, and of course lots of eating.
Baxter was so excited to have his sister (Rosie) and momma (Ruby) visit, they had lots of fun wrestling and playing together just like old times. Baxter was especially sweet and loving to Jesse and I which made us feel good knowing he hadn’t forgotten about us even after all this time.
Toby and Teddy were also very sweet and were big hams whenever the camera came out. They gave their best poses and pleaded I put them on the blog, I think the spot was well earned.
For our Christmas dinner we had all the essentials including my 5 minute cheesecake (recipe to come) and twice baked potatoes (my absolute favorite).
I hope you all had an excellent holiday and that this upcoming year is your best yet!
